Where this model fits
The BC-MP runs a normal filtration cycle, then inflates the membrane behind the cloth to press the cake. The squeeze displaces free water that filtration alone leaves behind, which typically shortens the cycle and reduces cake moisture on fine or compressible materials. Membrane pressure, plate size and chamber count are set from the duty point.

Cycle, step by step

Close
The hydraulic unit closes the plate stack to the set pressure.

Feed
Slurry is pumped into the chambers until the cavities fill.

Filter
Filtrate passes through the cloth; solids build as cake.

Squeeze
The membrane inflates to press residual water out of the cake.

Discharge
Plates open and the cake drops clear for the next cycle.
