Industry solution
Filtration for pigments, intermediates and fine chemical solids
Fine, often coloured solids where filtrate clarity, cake washing and cloth selection decide the result.

What makes this duty different
Three constraints that shape the specification
- 01
Fine particles blind cloth and stretch cycle times.
- 02
Cake washing must be even to meet product specification.
- 03
Colour carry-over between batches contaminates product.
Fine chemical solids are slow to filter and quick to blind a cloth. The press is specified around cake washing, filtrate clarity and clean discharge, with plate material chosen for the solvent and pH in use. Closed filtrate handling and wash connections are common requirements on these lines.

Models used on this duty

BC-MP Membrane Filter Press
Chamber filtration followed by a membrane squeeze stage, for fine and compressible solids where cake moisture matters.
- Filtration area80 – 1000 m² (typical range)
- Plate size800 – 2000 mm
- Chamber count20 – 100

Membrane Filter Plate
A PP carrier with a flexible membrane face, for presses that need a squeeze stage and drier cake.
- MaterialPP carrier with elastomer membrane
- Plate sizes800 – 2000 mm
- Membrane pressure1.0 – 2.5 MPa

Polyester Filter Cloth
PET cloth with tight weaves for pigment, food and fine chemical slurries where filtrate clarity is critical.
- FibrePolyester (PET)
- WeaveTwill, satin
- Weight350 – 700 g/m²
